As the Architect of the system, you must identify <i data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"76\">exactly<\/i> where the signal is breaking down. There are only 4 reasons why a capable person fails.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The 4 Gaps of Performance<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">1. The Gap of Clarity (They don&#8217;t know WHAT)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"10\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Symptom:<\/i> They work hard but produce the wrong thing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"10,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Cause:<\/i> You gave vague instructions (&#8220;Make it pop,&#8221; &#8220;Handle it&#8221;).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"10,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Fix:<\/i> Define the &#8220;Definition of Done.&#8221; Show them a finished example.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2. The Gap of Friction (They CAN&#8217;T)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"14\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,0,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"14,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Symptom:<\/i> They are frustrated, waiting on approvals, or fighting bad software.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,1,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"14,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Cause:<\/i> Your system has high &#8220;Organizational Drag.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,2,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"14,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Fix:<\/i> Remove the bureaucracy. Buy the tool. Kill the meeting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"15\"><b data-path-to-node=\"15\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">4. (Friction)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"18,3,0\">Do they care?
