It is a machine that has achieved <b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"145\">Escape Velocity<\/b> from the competence of its leader.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><b data-path-to-node=\"9\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The 3 Tests of the Machine<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10\"><b data-path-to-node=\"10\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">1. The &#8220;Bus Factor&#8221; Test:<\/b> If your top 3 leaders (including you) were hit by a bus tomorrow, would the quality of the product drop in 6 months?<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"11\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11,0,0\">In a Cult, the quality collapses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"11,1,0\">In a World-Class Organization, the quality stays the same (or improves) because the <i data-path-to-node=\"11,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"84\">Process<\/i> is the boss, not the Person.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12\"><b data-path-to-node=\"12\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">2.
