We hate Execution because it is messy.<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"12\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12,0,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"12,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Strategy:<\/i> &#8220;I am planning the perfect gym routine.&#8221; (Safe).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"12,1,0\"><i data-path-to-node=\"12,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Execution:<\/i> &#8220;I am under the bar sweating.&#8221; (Painful).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\"><b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Protocol: Kill the Strategist<\/b><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"13\">If you find yourself &#8220;planning&#8221; for more than 24 hours, you are stalling.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-path-to-node=\"14\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The &#8220;V1&#8221; Rule:<\/b> You are not allowed to improve the plan until you have shipped Version 1.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The 10% Tax:<\/b> For every hour you spend &#8220;thinking,&#8221; you must pay a tax of 10 hours &#8220;doing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"14,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"14,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The Feedback Loop:<\/b> You cannot steer a parked car.
